Kevin

Kevin’s career began in 1983, working full-time as a law clerk in the Washington, D.C. office of Leydig, Voit and Mayer while attending law school at night. After graduating from law school in 1987, Kevin worked for the Washington, D.C. area law firms of Oliff & Berridge (1987-1992), Nikaido Marmelstein Murray & Oram (1992-1998), and Lydon & Brown (1998-2000). During those seventeen years working for law firms in the Washington, D.C. area, Kevin gained a solid foundation in all areas of patent and trademark representation, including preparation and prosecution of patent applications in a wide range of technologies, trademark registration and maintenance, and providing opinions. In 2000, Kevin became a founding partner at the law firm of Burr & Brown in Syracuse, New York, where he remained until 2022. During that time, Kevin continued to focus on protecting clients’ patent and trademark rights, further honing his expertise. Kevin has had the honor of working with many small and mid-sized corporations to develop and manage their patent and trademark portfolios, handling large portions of patent portfolios of publicly traded companies, as well as representing individual inventors. Through it all, Kevin has never lost sight of the fact that the patent and trademark matters entrusted to him are of vital importance, and that it is all about serving you and your needs.
